However, there are recurring characters and an underlying interconnected conflict that play a major part in all the books, therefore to avoid spoilers, I highly recommend reading the books sequentially.

I loved, loved, loved this story! Alder had me hooked in the prologue and My Savior may be my new favorite! OMG, Alder's books are like potato chips; you can't stop with just one! This is the fourth book of the series and each story gets better and better! I can hardly wait to dive into the fifth! lol... I love unique paranormal romance, addicted to danger, action, adventure & suspense, completely smitten with sexy, alpha heroes, adore sassy, courageous heroines, and there's nothing I enjoy more than a few mind-bending plot twists and an infusion of laugh-out-loud humor, but when I can get it all in one well-crafted and beautifully written book, I'm in absolute heaven! And that's exactly what Alanea Alder delivered - AGAIN - in My Savior, the fourth full-length paranormal romance in her captivating and highly imaginative Bewitched & Bewildered Series. Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adult readers since it does contain explicit language, some violence, and steamy, dreamy sex. Will I read this author again? Absolutely which is probably the best recommendation I can give! As a matter of fact, after completing the first book of this series, I raced back to Amazon and purchased the remaining nine books and signed up for her newsletter, which speaks volumes as to how much I enjoyed this author's work! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! I was glued to my chair, white-knuckling my ereader, my heart fluttering wildly in my chest as the pages flew as quickly as the pages!

I fell in love with poor troubled Darian. He was so strong and so determined to save the woman he loved, even at the risk of his own happiness and possibly his life. And the beautiful, bubbly, half-witch Amelia was so loving and selfless, refusing to abandon the man of her childhood dreams, the only man she would ever love! Sigh... so dreamy! And if you've been following this series, I can hardly wait for you to find out the identity of her new sister-cousin! Oh my, this story just ripped my heart out of my chest! I snickered, snorted, sniffled, snuffled, chuckled, and outright ugly cried through the entire story! But just a little warning, folks, don't start this book unless you have plenty of time; you will not want to stop until you reach the last page. I should know; I stayed up all night AGAIN because I couldn't stop reading! lol... Alanea Alder, you're killing me! If you enjoy perilous danger, intense drama, agonizing angst, pulse-pounding action, nail-biting suspense, side-splitting humor, heartwarming romance, and a few mind-blowing plot twists that you'll never see coming, then this book is screaming your name. Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read! Thanks for the recommendation Fran Zoch!

I loved this book so much I had to post my first ever review! Meryn was back (times two!) and so were the laughs. I loved Amelia, and it was great to get a closer look at the Fae. Felix and the others were in rare form, and Kendrick is going to be good, I can tell. I'm seriously worried about Keelan, but I have confidence in the Alpha Unit and their ladies. Can't wait to meet Amelia's parents and all 6 brothers. Please do yourself a favor and go out and buy this series; start with My Commande...

OCD cringe at the idea of not reading them in the proper order, you'll miss the full impact of a lot of the humor. The fifth book (My Brother's Keeper) is available for pre-order now and I can't wait to read it!

I also want to thank Alanea for getting a good editor. I not only loved this as the fourth book in an utterly hilarious, paranormal series by an author who made it onto my auto-buy list with her first book (Fate Knows Best), but as the first book she's published that hasn't annoyed me with the obvious lack of a line editor. These books are just too good to be dragged down with bad editing/formatting. Go. Buy them. Enjoy a virtual vacation trip to a place that ought to exist!

After reading the epilogue of My Healer I will admit, I was scared to read this book, I just couldn't see how such darkness could be turned into a worthy addition to the hilarious, dramatic, touching, furiously-fanning-self sexy Bewitched and Bewildered series. While I often reread books, there are a select group that have made it onto my virtual 'Old Friends' bookshelf. These are the ones I can't live without. You know the type, in the old days they were the ones that got packed in a bag at the beginning of tornado season so you could grab the bag on the way to the basement when the sirens went off. The Bewitched and Bewildered series has a very prominent place on my virtual 'Old Friends' bookshelf.

Definitely a worthy addition to a much beloved series!
